If you are near Hoan Kiem Lake, start by heading west towards Dinh Tien Hoang Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Ly Thai To Street. Turn left onto Ly Thai To and keep walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Thanh Nien Street, which is along the lake. Follow Thanh Nien Street until you see Đ. Thanh Niên on your right. The walk should take about 20 minutes.
Public Bus
If you are near the Old Quarter, find the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 14 or 18 heading towards the direction of Hoan Kiem Lake. Get off at the 'Truc Bach' stop. From there, walk straight down Truc Bach Street until you reach the end, then turn left onto Thanh Nien Street. Continue walking until you see Đ. Thanh Niên on your right. The total journey should take around 30-40 minutes including the bus ride.
Cyclo
To experience a traditional form of transport, you can hire a cyclo from anywhere in the Old Quarter. Tell the driver you want to go to Đ. Thanh Niên. The driver will take you along the streets, and you can enjoy the sights of Hanoi. The ride should take around 15-25 minutes depending on traffic.
