Walking
If you are starting from Hoan Kiem Lake, walk southwest towards Dinh Tien Hoang Street and then turn left onto Le Thai To Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Phan Chu Trinh Street. Turn right onto Phan Chu Trinh and walk until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Tran Quang Khai Street. Cross the street and continue on Tran Quang Khai, which will lead you to the intersection with Nguyen Huu Huan Street. Turn left onto Nguyen Huu Huan and then right onto Hang Bac Street. Continue straight until you reach the crossroads with Phan Huy Ich Street. Turn left onto Phan Huy Ich and then right onto Vũ Thạnh Street. The temple will be on your left.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Hoan Kiem Lake, head to the nearest bus stop at 3-2 Street. Take bus number 09 or 32, which heads towards Đống Đa. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the Chợ Dừa stop. From there, walk along Vũ Thạnh Street for about 5 minutes; the Hao Nam Temple will be located on your left.
Cyclo
If you prefer a cyclo, you can find one in the Old Quarter near Hoan Kiem Lake. Tell the driver to take you to Hao Nam Temple, located at 2RGG+VFV, P. Vũ Thạnh, Chợ Dừa, Đống Đa. The ride should take about 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops around Hoan Kiem Lake. Start by heading south on Dinh Tien Hoang Street, then continue straight to Nguyen Thai Hoc Street. Follow Nguyen Thai Hoc until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Tran Quang Khai. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Phan Huy Ich Street, then turn left and ride straight until you arrive at Vũ Thạnh Street. The temple will be on your left, just a short distance down the road.
