Bicycle
From the center of Hoi An, head towards the Hoi An Market. Once you reach the market, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. After securing your bike, head west towards the An Bang Beach road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the road. Take the second exit onto Vo Nguyen Giap Street. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Tran Thi Ly Bridge. Cross the bridge, and upon reaching Da Nang, follow the signs towards Son Tra Peninsula. You will enjoy a scenic ride with beautiful views along the coastline.
Motorbike
To reach Son Tra Peninsula from Hoi An, start by renting a motorbike in the old town area. Head towards Cua Dai Street and follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the exit towards Da Nang on Vo Nguyen Giap Street. Continue straight until you reach the Tran Thi Ly Bridge. Cross the bridge, and upon entering Da Nang, keep following the signs to Son Tra Peninsula. The ride will take you through some beautiful areas, so enjoy the views along the way!
Public Bus
To get to Son Tra Peninsula using public transport, walk to the nearest bus station in Hoi An. Take bus number 1 or 2 to Da Nang. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Da Nang, disembark at the bus stop near the Han River. From here, take a local taxi or ride-sharing service to reach Son Tra Peninsula, which is about a 15-minute drive away. Make sure to mention 'Son Tra Peninsula' to the driver for the best route.
Walking
Walking to Son Tra Peninsula from Hoi An is not feasible due to the long distance, but if you're feeling adventurous, you can start by walking to the nearest bus stop and take a bus to Da Nang as described above. Alternatively, you can spend a day exploring Hoi An's beautiful streets and markets before planning a visit to Son Tra Peninsula the next day using one of the other transportation methods listed.
