From Hoi An Ancient Town, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops available. Head east on Trần Hưng Đạo Street until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Nguyễn Tất Thành Street. Continue straight for about 10 km. You will pass through scenic rice fields and rural landscapes. Keep an eye out for directional signs pointing to My Son Sanctuary. Once you reach Duy Phú, follow the signs to the entrance of My Son Sanctuary.
Motorbike
If you prefer a motorbike, rent one from a local shop in Hoi An. Start your journey by heading out of Hoi An on Trần Hưng Đạo Street. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nguyễn Tất Thành Street. Drive straight for approximately 10 km. You'll encounter beautiful landscapes, so take your time. Watch for signs directing you to My Son Sanctuary. Upon arrival in Duy Phú, follow the signs to the entrance of the sanctuary.
Public Bus
To take a public bus to My Son Sanctuary, you can catch the bus from Hoi An's main bus station. Look for the bus heading to Quảng Nam. Make sure to ask the driver if it stops at My Son. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the bus stop near My Son Sanctuary, follow the signs to the entrance, which is just a short walk away.
Walk
If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can start from the center of Hoi An. Walk towards the My Son Sanctuary by heading east on Trần Hưng Đạo Street. This walk is quite long, approximately 10 kilometers, and will take you through some beautiful scenery. It is advisable to start early in the day to avoid the heat. Follow the road signs to guide you towards Duy Phú, where the sanctuary is located.
