Walk straight for about 0.8 miles until you reach the intersection with 29th Street. Turn left onto 29th Street and continue for another 0.4 miles. You will see a sign for Ragged Mountain Nature Area on your right. Follow the path leading into the nature area.

Begin at the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville. Head south on South 1st Street until you reach East Main Street. Turn right on East Main Street and bike for about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto South 2nd Street and continue for 0.2 miles. Then turn right onto East High Street (US-250) and bike straight for approximately 0.8 miles. Take a left onto 29th Street and continue straight for another 0.4 miles. Look for the entrance to Ragged Mountain Nature Area on your right. Park your bike at the designated rack before entering the area.
