From Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, head southwest on US-17 S. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit toward Portsmouth. Merge onto I-264 E and continue for about 15 miles. Take exit 7 for High St toward US-58 E and continue on High St. Turn left onto N St, and the Hill House Museum will be on your left at 221 North St, Portsmouth, VA 23704. Parking is available nearby.
