Car
If you are driving from Williamsburg, head south on US-60 E (Richmond Road). After approximately 4 miles, merge onto the Colonial Parkway. Continue on the Parkway for about 6 miles until you see the exit for Jamestown. Take the exit and follow the signs to Jamestown Rediscovery at 1365 Colonial National Historical Parkway. There is a parking area available at the site, which is free for visitors.
Public Transportation
Take the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) bus service. Board the Route 1 bus towards the Jamestown Settlement. The bus will drop you off at the Jamestown Settlement area. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Jamestown Rediscovery. Follow the signs along the walking path, which will lead you to the entrance at 1365 Colonial National Historical Parkway. Please check the WATA website for the latest bus schedules and fares.
Bicycle
For those who prefer to cycle, you can ride along the Colonial Parkway bike trail. Starting from Williamsburg, follow the bike path that leads to Jamestown. The distance is roughly 6 miles, and the route is scenic and safe for cyclists. Once you arrive, there are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.
