After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Ballard Stadium' stop. The stadium will be directly in front of you, just a short walk away.

If you prefer biking, start your journey by renting a bike from a local rental shop in Newport News. Head towards the James River and follow the bike path along the water towards Norfolk. Continue on the bike path until you reach the Elizabeth River Trail. Follow this trail until you see signs for Old Dominion University. The S.B. Ballard Stadium will be just off the trail, and you can park your bike in the nearby bike racks.

If you're up for a walk and are currently in central Newport News, head towards the nearest bus stop and take the HRT bus to Norfolk. Once you arrive in Norfolk, you can explore the area on foot. From the bus stop, walk south towards the Elizabeth River and continue on the waterfront until you reach the intersection with 43rd Street. Turn left onto 43rd Street and head east until you reach the stadium at 49th Street. It's approximately a 20-minute walk from the waterfront area.
