If you are starting from Downtown Roanoke, head southwest on 3rd Street SW towards Campbell Avenue SW. Continue straight onto Memorial Avenue SW. As you walk, enjoy the local shops and cafes. After about 0.7 miles, you will see the park entrance on your left at 1403 Memorial Ave SW. The park is a lovely green space perfect for a leisurely stroll.

From the Roanoke Civic Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Williamson Road and Campbell Avenue. Take the Valley Metro bus route 5 towards the Memorial Bridge area. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the Memorial Avenue stop. Walk east towards Memorial Avenue, and the park entrance will be on your right at 1403 Memorial Ave SW.

If you have access to a bike, you can ride from the Roanoke River Greenway. Follow the Greenway towards the west until you reach 9th Street SW. Turn left onto 9th Street SW, then take a right onto Memorial Avenue SW. Continue biking for about 1 mile, and you’ll arrive at Memorial Bridge Park on your left at 1403 Memorial Ave SW.
