Car
If you are driving along Skyline Drive, head towards the Mile Marker 81, which is the closest access point to Jones Run Falls Trailhead. Look for the parking area on the right side of the road. There is no fee to park at the trailhead, but a Skyline Drive entrance fee of $30 per vehicle is required for a seven-day pass.
Public Transportation & Walking
If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Waynesboro or another nearby town and then use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to get to Skyline Drive. Once you arrive at the entrance of Skyline Drive, you will still need to pay the $30 entrance fee for your vehicle. From there, you can follow the driving instructions provided above to reach the Jones Run Falls Trailhead.
Walking from Nearby Attractions
If you find yourself at nearby attractions such as the Big Meadows area, you can hike along the trails leading towards Jones Run Falls. The hike is approximately 3.5 miles and will take you through beautiful forested areas before you reach the falls. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
