    From anywhere in Southwest Virginia, head towards Interstate 81 (I-81 North). If you are near Abingdon, VA, take US-11 N to merge onto I-81 N. Continue on I-81 N for approximately 85 miles. Take exit 140 to merge onto I-64 E toward Charlottesville. After about 40 miles, take exit 118 for US-29 N toward Lynchburg. Continue on US-29 N for about 70 miles. Follow signs for US-29 Business N and merge onto National Ave. The Abingdon Plantation Historical Site will be on your right at 2590 National Ave, Arlington, VA 22202.
