From there, turn right onto Pacific Avenue and continue south. You will eventually reach the junction where Pacific Avenue turns into Sandpiper Road. Continue on Sandpiper Road until you arrive at False Cape State Park. Be sure to follow local traffic laws and use bike lanes where available.

For those wishing to walk to False Cape State Park, start at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Walk south along the boardwalk until you reach 15th Street, then turn left and continue on Pacific Avenue heading south. Follow Pacific Avenue as it turns into Sandpiper Road. Keep walking along Sandpiper Road until you reach the park entrance. This route is approximately 10 miles, so be prepared for a long walk.

To get to False Cape State Park using public transportation, take the Hampton Roads Transit bus route 20 from any major stop in Virginia Beach. Ride the bus towards the Virginia Beach Convention Center, then transfer to the 29 bus heading towards Sandbridge. Get off at the Sandbridge stop, and walk approximately 1.5 miles south along Sandpiper Road until you reach the entrance to False Cape State Park.
