From there, walk north on Parish Road for about 10 minutes, and you will reach The Thoroughgood House located at 1636 Parish Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23455.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike at any local rental shop in the Virginia Beach area. Head northeast on Atlantic Avenue until you reach the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Continue along the boardwalk until you reach 31st Street, then turn left onto 31st Street. Follow 31st Street until it intersects with Pacific Avenue, then head north on Pacific Avenue. After about a mile, turn left onto Indian River Road. Continue on Indian River Road until you reach Parish Road, then turn right. The Thoroughgood House will be on your left after a few blocks.
