Walking
From the center of Town Center, head north on Main Street towards the Virginia Beach Town Center. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Virginia Beach Boulevard. Cross Virginia Beach Boulevard and continue straight onto N. Independence Blvd. Walk for about 0.4 miles. You'll pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the traffic light at the intersection with Princess Anne Road, turn right onto Princess Anne Road and continue for about 0.2 miles. Look for Cheswick Lane on your left. Turn left onto Cheswick Lane, and Ferry Plantation House will be on your right at 4136 Cheswick Lane.

From Town Center, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Main Street and Virginia Beach Boulevard. Take the Hampton Roads Transit bus route 20 (Virginia Beach Boulevard) towards Norfolk. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at Princess Anne Road and Cheswick Lane. From the bus stop, walk east on Princess Anne Road for about 0.2 miles, then turn left onto Cheswick Lane. Ferry Plantation House will be on your right at 4136 Cheswick Lane. Note that bus fare costs around $2.00.
