It's about a 1-mile walk from the bus stop. Head east on State Route 20, then turn left onto the access road leading to the trailhead.

If you have a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Bellingham to Rockport. Start from the Bellingham Bay waterfront and follow the South Bay Trail until you reach the intersection with State Route 20. Turn left onto State Route 20 and continue to Rockport. The ride is approximately 26 miles and will take around 2-3 hours, depending on your speed. Once you arrive in Rockport, look for signs directing you to the Thunder Knob Trailhead, which is about 1 mile from the town center.

If you're feeling adventurous and up for a long trek, you can walk from Bellingham to Rockport. This is a distance of about 26 miles and would take approximately 8-10 hours.
