Getting There

  • Ferry

    Start by making your way to the Bremerton Ferry Terminal located at 100 Washington Ave, Bremerton, WA 98337. From the terminal, board the Washington State Ferry to Seattle. The ferry ride takes approximately 60 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Puget Sound. Once you arrive at the Seattle Ferry Terminal, follow the signs to exit the terminal.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    After exiting the Seattle Ferry Terminal, walk to the nearby bus stop at Alaskan Way & Marion St. Take Bus Route 5 towards 'Northgate' and stay on for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Phinney Ave N & N 50th St.' From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Woodland Park Zoo. Head east on N 50th St, then turn left onto Phinney Ave N and continue until you see the zoo entrance on your right.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from the Seattle Ferry Terminal, head north on Alaskan Way, then turn left onto Marion St. Continue to 1st Ave, then turn right. Walk up to Pike St and continue straight until you reach 5th Ave. From 5th Ave, take Bus Route 5 from the bus stop at 5th Ave & Pike St directly to Woodland Park Zoo, or walk approximately 2 miles northwest along the recommended path.
