Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Eastern Washington, take I-90 West towards Seattle. Follow I-90 for approximately 270 miles. As you approach Seattle, continue on I-90 and take the exit for I-5 North towards Vancouver, BC. Merge onto I-5 North and continue for about 1.5 miles. Take exit 167 for Stewart St. towards the Space Needle. Follow Stewart St. to 5th Ave, then turn left onto 5th Ave and continue until you reach Broad St. Turn right onto Broad St and the Space Needle will be on your left at 400 Broad St. Parking is available nearby, but expect to pay around $10-$20 depending on the time of day.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For public transportation, take the Greyhound or Trailways bus service from various locations in Eastern Washington to Seattle. Once you arrive at the Seattle bus station, you can take King County Metro Bus Route 8 or Route 1 towards Queen Anne. Get off at the stop for 'Broad St & 5th Ave.' From there, walk one block west on Broad St to reach the Space Needle at 400 Broad St. Bus fare is approximately $2.75 per ride. • Public Transportation (Light Rail)

  If you're near a Sound Transit Light Rail station, take the light rail from locations in the Seattle area. Travel towards the University of Washington and get off at the Westlake Station. From Westlake, you can either walk about 15 minutes to the Space Needle or catch the Seattle Center Monorail. The Monorail runs from Westlake Center to the Seattle Center, dropping you off right near the Space Needle. A light rail ticket costs around $3.00.

  For a more convenient option, consider using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft. Simply input 'Space Needle, 400 Broad St, Seattle, WA' as your destination. The cost will vary depending on your starting location in Eastern Washington but expect to pay anywhere from $50 to $100 for a ride, depending on distance and time of day.
