Getting There

Walking
If you are in Downtown Seattle, the Space Needle is a short walk away. Start from the intersection of 5th Avenue and Pine Street. Head north on 5th Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach Broad Street. Turn left on Broad Street and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. You will see the Space Needle on your right at 400 Broad St. The walk will take around 15-20 minutes.

Light Rail
You can take the Link Light Rail from Westlake Station (located at 4th Avenue and Pine Street). Board a train heading towards the University of Washington and get off at the 'Westlake' station (this is the same station you board from). After exiting the train, walk north on 5th Avenue, then turn left onto Broad Street and continue to the Space Needle. Note that a one-way fare on the Link Light Rail is approximately $3.00.

For a unique experience, you can take the Seattle Center Monorail from Westlake Center (located at 5th Avenue and Pine Street). Board the monorail towards Seattle Center and ride for about 2 minutes until you reach the Seattle Center station. Exit the monorail and follow the signs to the Space Needle, which is a short walk away. The fare for the monorail is $2.50 one way.
