Bus
To reach FairWinds Winery from central Everett, start at the Everett Transit Center located at 3201 Smith Avenue. Take Bus Route 17 towards Mukilteo. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Mukilteo ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to Clinton (Whidbey Island), which takes about 20 minutes. Once you disembark, you will need to catch Bus Route 1 towards Coupeville. Stay on the bus for about 40 minutes until you reach the stop at the Port Townsend Ferry Terminal. From the terminal, transfer to Bus Route 7 towards Port Townsend. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop closest to Hastings Ave W. Walk approximately 10 minutes northwest on Hastings Ave W to reach FairWinds Winery at 1984 Hastings Ave W.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, start from downtown Everett and head west on Pacific Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Follow the scenic route along the waterfront, which will eventually lead you to the Mukilteo ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Clinton (Whidbey Island). Once you arrive on Whidbey Island, cycle north on State Route 525, then turn onto State Route 20 heading towards Port Townsend. Follow the signs towards Port Townsend and then onto Hastings Ave W. The winery will be on your left at 1984 Hastings Ave W. The entire trip may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed and ferry wait times.

It’s a long walk, approximately 15 miles to Port Townsend, so be prepared for a lengthy trek.
