From anywhere in Federal Way, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Sound Transit Route 586 heading north towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for approximately 40 to 50 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Westlake Station' stop in downtown Seattle. From there, walk to the Westlake Center and take the Seattle Center Monorail. The monorail will take you directly to the Seattle Center, where the Space Needle is located. The Space Needle entrance is a short walk from the monorail station.
