    From downtown Kirkland, walk to the Kirkland Transit Center located at 400 3rd St, Kirkland, WA 98033. Take King County Metro Bus Route 255 towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Northgate Transit Center stop. From there, transfer to Metro Bus Route 62 towards Seattle and ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop for Northlake Way & Gas Works Park. Walk about 5 minutes to the park entrance at 2101 N Northlake Way.

    Rent a bike from a local bike shop in Kirkland, such as Kirkland Bike Shop. Start at the waterfront park in Kirkland. Head north on the Lake Washington Loop Trail, which will take you along the beautiful waterfront. Follow the trail for about 5 miles until you reach Gas Works Park. The trail will lead you to the park entrance at 2101 N Northlake Way.

    From downtown Kirkland, head north on Central Way. Continue straight as Central Way turns into Market Street. Walk for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection of Market St and 6th Ave. Turn left on 6th Ave and walk about 0.5 miles to the waterfront. Follow the path along the water, which will lead you to Gas Works Park. The walk will take approximately 45 minutes.
