From downtown Kirkland, walk to the nearest bus stop at 3rd St and Kirkland Ave. Board King County Metro Bus Route 255 towards Seattle, which departs every 30 minutes. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the stop at 2nd Ave & Pike St. From there, walk south on 2nd Ave until you reach Pike St, then turn left. Pike Place Market will be on your right at 85 Pike St.
Bicycle
If you're biking, start at the Kirkland Marina Park and follow the designated bike path along Lake Washington Boulevard. Continue towards the Burien area and connect to the Sammamish River Trail, which will lead you towards Seattle. When you reach the Fremont Bridge, continue onto 34th St towards the city.
