Getting There

  • Bus

    From downtown Kirkland, walk to the nearest bus stop at Kirkland Transit Center. Catch the METRO bus route 255 heading towards Seattle. The journey will take approximately 25-30 minutes. Disembark at the stop on 5th Ave & Harrison St. From there, walk one block west on Harrison St until you reach Seattle Center at 305 Harrison St.

  • Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental services in Kirkland. Start by heading south on Lake St, which becomes 6th St. Follow 6th St until you reach the Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail. Take the trail heading west towards the city of Seattle. After about 6 miles, merge onto the Burke-Gilman Trail, which will lead you directly to the Seattle Center. Once you reach the Seattle Center, park your bike at one of the designated bike racks.

  • Walking

    For those who enjoy walking, start from downtown Kirkland and head south on 2nd Ave. Continue onto Kirkland Ave, which will lead you to the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path along Lake Washington until you reach the eastern end of the lake. From there, you can connect to the Burke-Gilman Trail heading towards Seattle. It’s about a 7-mile walk and will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
