Getting There

  • Bus

    From Lynnwood, head to the nearest bus stop on 184th St SW. Take the Community Transit bus route 130 towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Northgate Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Sound Transit Link Light Rail and ride towards Seattle. Disembark at the University of Washington station. Once you exit the station, walk north on Montlake Blvd NE until you reach NE Pacific St. Turn left onto NE Pacific St and continue walking until you reach Northlake Way. Turn right onto Northlake Way and Gas Works Park will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Lynnwood. Start by heading south on 184th St SW towards 44th Ave W. Turn right onto 44th Ave W and continue until it becomes 36th Ave W. Follow this road south until you reach the Interurban Trail. Take the Interurban Trail south towards Seattle. This scenic route will take you through beautiful landscapes and parks. Continue on the trail until you reach the Gas Works Park entrance at 2101 N Northlake Way.

    If you're up for a walk, start from the Lynnwood City Center. Head east on 184th St SW and continue walking until you reach 44th Ave W. Turn right and walk south until you reach the Lynnwood Transit Center. From there, follow the same bus directions as above to Northgate Transit Center or consider walking to the Northgate area directly. It's a longer walk of about 6 miles, so ensure you're prepared for a good trek. Once you reach Northgate, use the Link Light Rail to arrive at the University of Washington station and follow the directions to reach Gas Works Park.
