Car
From Mount Baker, head east on Mount Baker Highway (WA-542 E). Continue on WA-542 E for approximately 15 miles. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. After passing the Glacier Ranger Station, continue for another 4 miles until you reach the turnoff for Austin Pass Picnic Area. The entrance is on the left side of the road. There is a parking area available for visitors at the picnic area.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, first take a bus from Bellingham to Glacier, Washington. The bus service may vary, so check the schedule ahead of time. Once you arrive in Glacier, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the Austin Pass Picnic Area, as there is no direct public transport to the picnic area. Be prepared for a cost associated with the taxi or rideshare service.
