Car
Start your journey from Mount Baker by heading east on WA-542 E. Continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with Mount Baker Highway. Turn left onto Mount Baker Highway (WA-542 E) and continue for another 10 miles. As you approach the area, look for signs directing you towards the Table Mountain Trailhead, which is located near Deming, WA 98244. The trailhead parking lot is located at the end of Glacier Road. Be aware that there may be a small parking fee, so have some cash ready.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a bus from Bellingham to Deming on the Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) route. You will need to check the WTA schedule for the latest routes and times, as they may vary. Once in Deming, you can call a local taxi service or rideshare to take you to the Table Mountain Trailhead located on Glacier Road. Note that rideshare options may be limited in this area, so pre-booking is recommended.
Hiking
After parking at the Table Mountain Trailhead, prepare for a hike. The trail begins at the parking area and is well-marked. The hike to the summit of Table Mountain is about 3 miles one way, with an elevation gain of roughly 1,200 feet. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and carry plenty of water and snacks for your journey. The trail can be steep and rocky in places, so be cautious and take your time.
