Car
If you are traveling by car from the Mount Rainier Area, take WA-410 W towards Enumclaw. After approximately 25 miles, merge onto WA-164 W. Continue on WA-164 W for about 10 miles until you reach Auburn. Take a left onto SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd and follow it for about 2 miles. Then, turn right onto SE Flaming Geyser Rd. The park entrance will be on your left at 23700 SE Flaming Geyser Rd, Auburn, WA 98092. Be aware that parking inside the park may incur a small fee, typically around $10 for a day pass.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Pierce Transit bus route 497 from the Mount Rainier area towards Auburn. The bus will drop you off at the Auburn Transit Center. From there, you can catch the Sound Transit bus route 586, which heads towards Enumclaw. Request to be dropped off at the intersection of SE Flaming Geyser Rd and SE Auburn-Black Diamond Rd. From this point, it is about a 1-mile walk to the park entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedules for the latest timings and potential transfer points.
