Car
From Ashford, WA, head east on WA-706 E for about 5 miles. Look for signs for Sunrise Visitor Center on your left. Turn onto Sunrise Park Road, and continue for about 7 miles. The visitor center will be on your left. Make sure to check the weather and road conditions, as they can affect access.
Public Transportation
If you're taking public transportation, your best option is to take the Pierce Transit bus route 586 from Ashford to the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. From the park entrance, you will need to arrange for a shuttle service to the Sunrise Visitor Center, as public transportation does not directly reach the center. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the latest timings.
