If you are near Point Defiance Park, you can walk to the Twin Barns Observation Deck. Start by heading south on Pearl St towards the Point Defiance Park entrance. Continue walking along the park trails until you reach the main road, then head east on 19th St. Turn left onto Center Dr and follow it until you reach Kimbro Rd. Turn left on Kimbro Rd and walk about 1.5 miles to reach the Twin Barns Lp Trl. Follow the trail to the Observation Deck.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Tacoma to the Twin Barns Observation Deck. Start on the waterfront bike path heading south towards Point Defiance Park.
