Ride the bus until you reach the 'University of Washington Station.' Once you're at the station, transfer to the Link Light Rail service towards Northgate. Ride until you reach the 'Northgate Station.' After that, take the Metro Bus Route 44 towards Ballard. Get off at the 'Northlake Way & 134th St' stop.
