Car
If you're driving to Green Lake Park, head towards Seattle and take I-5 North. Exit at 173 for 85th St and turn left onto 85th St. Continue onto Aurora Ave N (Route 99), then turn right onto N 80th St. Finally, turn left onto East Green Lake Dr N, and you will find the park at 7201 East Green Lake Dr N. There is street parking available around the park. Be aware of potential parking fees depending on the area you park in.
Public Transportation - Bus
Public transportation is a convenient option to reach Green Lake Park. From downtown Seattle, you can take the Metro Bus Route 26 or 5, which will take you directly towards the Green Lake area. If you're coming from the University District, take Route 66. Make sure to check the current schedules on the King County Metro website. The closest bus stop is at East Green Lake Dr N & N 72nd St, just a short walk from the park entrance.
Walking from Bus Stop
Once you get off the bus at East Green Lake Dr N & N 72nd St, walk south on East Green Lake Dr N. The park entrance will be visible within a few minutes. This is a pleasant walk where you can enjoy the surroundings before entering the park.
