From downtown Redmond, walk to the nearest bus stop and take King County Metro Bus Route 542 towards Seattle. The bus will take you directly to the Seattle area. Get off at the 'Broad St & 5th Ave' stop. From there, walk east on Broad Street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Space Needle located at 400 Broad St, Seattle, WA 98109.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Redmond. Start by heading south on 164th Ave NE, then take a right onto NE 85th St. Follow NE 85th St until you reach the Sammamish River Trail. Follow the trail south until you reach the Burke-Gilman Trail. Continue on the Burke-Gilman Trail towards Seattle. When you get close to the city, exit onto 40th St NE and continue to 2nd Ave N. Follow 2nd Ave N until you reach the Space Needle at 400 Broad St.
