    From Renton, head to the Renton Transit Center located at 200 Mill Ave S. Take the Sound Transit Route 586 bus towards Tacoma. The bus will take you to the Tacoma Dome Station. From there, transfer to the Pierce Transit Route 1 bus towards Tacoma. Get off at the stop at 17th & Pacific Ave. Walk south on Pacific Ave for about 5 minutes to reach the Tacoma Art Museum located at 1701 Pacific Ave.

    Light Rail

    From Renton, make your way to the nearest Link Light Rail station, which is located at the Tukwila International Blvd Station. Take the Link Light Rail towards University of Washington. Disembark at the Tacoma Dome Station. From the Tacoma Dome Station, transfer to the Pierce Transit Route 1 bus towards Tacoma. Get off at the 17th & Pacific Ave stop. Walk south on Pacific Ave for about 5 minutes to the Tacoma Art Museum at 1701 Pacific Ave.

    Walking

    If you are already in Tacoma, find your way to the downtown area. From the Museum District, walk towards Pacific Ave. Continue walking south on Pacific Ave until you reach the Tacoma Art Museum, which is located at 1701 Pacific Ave. It should take you approximately 15-20 minutes to walk depending on your starting point.

    Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local bike-sharing service in Renton. Start at the Renton Transit Center and follow the bike paths towards Tacoma. You can use the Interurban Trail to connect to Tacoma. Once you reach downtown Tacoma, navigate to Pacific Ave and proceed south to the Tacoma Art Museum at 1701 Pacific Ave.
