Getting There

• Walking

  If you're already in Downtown Seattle, the Space Needle is within a walkable distance. Start by heading northwest on Pine Street toward 5th Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn left onto 5th Avenue and walk for a few blocks until you reach Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street, and you will see the Space Needle at 400 Broad St, Seattle, WA 98109, just a short walk ahead.

• Light Rail

  For a quick ride, you can take the Link Light Rail from any station in Downtown Seattle. Board the train at Westlake Station, which is located at 4th Avenue and Pine Street. Purchase a ticket at the kiosks before boarding (cost is around $3.00). Ride the train toward the University of Washington and get off at the 'Westlake' station. From there, exit the station and walk northwest on Pine Street until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn left on 5th Avenue and then right onto Broad Street to reach the Space Needle.

• Seattle Center Monorail

  You can also take the Seattle Center Monorail, which is a fun and unique way to reach the Space Needle. Board the monorail at Westlake Center (located at 4th Avenue and Pine Street). The fare is $2.50 one way. The monorail will take you directly to the Seattle Center, which is just a short walk from the Space Needle. Once you disembark at the Seattle Center station, head towards the Space Needle, which will be visible as you exit.

• Public Bus

  Another option is to take a King County Metro bus. Look for bus routes that stop at the Seattle Center or near Broad Street. You can catch a bus from various stops in Downtown Seattle. Make sure to check the Metro Transit website for route numbers and schedules. The fare for a bus ride is around $2.75. After alighting, follow the signs to the Space Needle, which is located at 400 Broad St.
