Getting There

Public Transport - Bus
If you are starting from downtown Spokane, head to the Spokane Transit Authority (STA) Plaza at 1230 W 1st Ave. From there, take Bus Route 24 towards Nine Mile Falls. The bus will take you through the city and out towards the northern part of Spokane. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop closest to N Nine Mile Rd and N Indian Trail Rd. From there, you'll need to walk approximately 0.5 miles northwest on N Indian Trail Rd until you reach N Nine Mile Rd. Turn left on N Nine Mile Rd, and the Spokane House Interpretive Center will be on your left.

Walking - From Riverfront Park
If you are starting from Riverfront Park, head northwest towards the Spokane River. Follow the path along the river to the north until you reach the intersection of N Howard St and W Riverside Ave. Turn right onto N Howard St and walk straight until you reach W 1st Ave. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the STA Plaza. From there, take Bus Route 24 towards Nine Mile Falls as described above.

Bicycle Rental
For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in downtown Spokane. Once you have your bike, head north on N Howard St, continuing until you reach W 1st Ave. Then, follow W 1st Ave until you reach the Spokane River and take the scenic bike path along the river. This route will take you towards the northern part of the city and connect you to N Indian Trail Rd. From there, follow the same walking directions as mentioned above to reach the Spokane House Interpretive Center.
