Getting There

    If you're starting from downtown Tacoma, head to the Tacoma Dome Station. You can take the Sound Transit Light Rail (Link) towards the University of Washington. Get off at the last stop and transfer to Pierce Transit Bus 1. Board the bus, and it will take you southbound. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the S 72nd St & S Sheridan Ave stop. From there, walk south for about 5 minutes until you reach Wapato Park at 6500 S Sheridan Ave.

    If you're nearby, you can walk to Wapato Park. For example, if you're in the South End neighborhood, head south on S Sheridan Ave. The park is located at 6500 S Sheridan Ave, so just keep walking until you reach the park entrance.
