Walking
If you are starting from the Tacoma Link Light Rail Station at 9th & Commerce, exit the station and head south on Commerce Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach Dock Street. Turn left onto Dock Street and proceed for about 0.2 miles. The Foss Waterway Seaport will be on your right at 705 Dock St.
Public Transit (Bus)
From the Tacoma Dome Station, catch Pierce Transit bus route 1 (Heading toward '5th & Broadway'). Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the '12th & Pacific' stop. Walk east on Pacific Avenue for two blocks, then turn right on Dock Street. The Foss Waterway Seaport will be located on your left at 705 Dock St.
Biking
If you are near the waterfront or in downtown Tacoma, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike share programs. Start from the waterfront area, head north along the waterfront bike trails. Follow the signs towards Thea Foss Waterway. Once you approach Dock Street, turn left, and the Foss Waterway Seaport will be on your right at 705 Dock St.
Walking from Point Defiance Park
If you are at Point Defiance Park, walk towards the Point Defiance ferry terminal. Take the Washington State Ferry to Tacoma, which is a scenic route. Once you arrive at the Tacoma terminal, exit the ferry and head south on Dock Street for about 0.5 miles. The Foss Waterway Seaport will be on your left at 705 Dock St.
