Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head to Winthrop, WA. From the center of Winthrop, take WA-20 E for approximately 4 miles. Turn left onto Bear Creek Road. Continue on Bear Creek Road for about 1 mile, and Pearrygin Lake State Park will be on your left. There is a parking fee of $10 per vehicle for day use, so be prepared with cash or a credit card.

• Public Transportation

  If you’re using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus to Winthrop. The closest major bus station is in Omak, WA. From Omak, you can catch a regional bus service that heads to Winthrop. Upon arrival in Winthrop, you can either walk (about 4 miles) or arrange for a local taxi or rideshare service to take you to Pearrygin Lake State Park. Be aware that public transportation options may be limited, and it’s advisable to check schedules in advance.

• Bicycle

  For those who are adventurous and looking to bike, you can start from Winthrop. Rent a bike in town and follow WA-20 E out of Winthrop for about 4 miles. After that, turn onto Bear Creek Road and continue for about 1 mile to reach Pearrygin Lake State Park. Ensure you have proper biking gear and check the weather conditions before embarking on your ride.

• Walking

  If you're staying close to Winthrop and prefer walking, you can trek from the town center. The distance to Pearrygin Lake State Park is roughly 5 miles. Take WA-20 E out of Winthrop, then turn left onto Bear Creek Road. Follow the road until you reach the park entrance. This route may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so plan accordingly and wear comfortable shoes.
