Car
If you are traveling by car from anywhere in The Columbia Basin, you will want to head towards Interstate 90 (I-90). Depending on your starting point, navigate to I-90 East. Continue on I-90 East for approximately 60 miles until you reach Exit 38 for the Mount Si and North Bend area. After exiting, turn left onto North Bend Way (WA-202) and follow it for about 4 miles until it merges with WA-203. Continue on WA-203 North for approximately 9 miles until you reach US-2. Take a right onto US-2 and drive for about 20 miles until you reach the town of Skykomish. From Skykomish, follow the signs to the Henry M. Jackson Wilderness, which is located nearby. Be prepared for some unpaved roads as you get closer to the wilderness area.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a Greyhound bus or Amtrak train service to Seattle. From Seattle, you can catch a bus operated by King County Metro or Community Transit to the town of Skykomish. Once in Skykomish, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the Henry M. Jackson Wilderness area, as public transportation options may be limited. Check the respective transit websites for schedules and fares.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, you can bike from the nearest town to the wilderness. Starting from Skykomish, take US-2 East, which provides a scenic route.
