From Coopers Rock State Forest, head south on Coopers Rock Road. Continue for about 7 miles until you reach the intersection with US-119. Turn left onto US-119 South. After approximately 4 miles, take the exit for I-68 East toward Morgantown. Merge onto I-68 and continue for about 6 miles. Take exit 1B for US-119 North toward Morgantown. Continue on US-119 North for about 2 miles, then take the exit for Green Bag Road (Rt. 857). Merge onto Green Bag Road and follow it to the intersection with Kirk Street. Turn right onto Kirk Street, and the Morgantown History Museum will be on your left at 175 Kirk St, Morgantown, WV 26505. Parking is available on the street or in nearby lots, which may incur a fee.

First, you can take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the intersection of US-119 and I-68. From there, catch the Mountain Line Transit bus #7 towards Downtown Morgantown. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop for the Morgantown History Museum, which is close to the intersection of Kirk Street. The bus fare is around $1.00 per trip, and it is advisable to have cash or a transit pass ready.
