From the center of Martinsburg, head northeast on W King St toward N Queen St. Continue walking straight for about 0.6 miles. When you reach the intersection with E Race St, turn right. Follow E Race St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-11 N. Here you will find a bus stop. Take the MTA Maryland bus towards Hagerstown. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop closest to the Maryland border. From there, it's about a 1-mile walk to Final Attack Trail, located on Maryland 21782. Follow the road signs to guide you.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Martinsburg Visitor Center. Head north on S Queen St until you reach W King St. Turn left and continue west for about 0.5 miles. At the intersection with US-11 N, turn right and follow the road. You’ll ride for about 3 miles until you approach the Maryland border. Once in Maryland, follow the signs for Final Attack Trail.
