From Spruce Knob, start by heading southwest on Spruce Knob Road. After approximately 4 miles, turn right onto WV-28 South. Continue on WV-28 South for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with W Kempton Road. Turn left onto W Kempton Road and follow it for about 2 miles. You will see the entrance to Fairfax Stone State Park on your right. There is no entry fee for the park.
