    If you are located in downtown Wheeling, start by heading southwest on 12th Street towards Market Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with US-40 (National Road). Turn left onto US-40 and walk approximately 0.6 miles. You'll pass by various shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the entrance to Wheeling Island Historic District on your right at 99 US-40.
