Walking
If you are starting from the Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack, exit the hotel and head east on Main St toward 14th St. Continue straight on Main St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Market St. Turn right onto Market St and walk for approximately 0.2 miles. The Wheeling Historic District will be on your left at 2146 Market St.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you are near the Wheeling Transit Authority bus stop at 16th St and Market St, take the bus route that heads toward downtown Wheeling. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Market St and 21st St. From there, walk south down Market St for about 0.3 miles. The Wheeling Historic District will be located at 2146 Market St on your right.
Walking from the Centre Market
If you are at the Centre Market, exit the market and head south on 12th St. Continue walking for about 0.4 miles, then turn left onto Market St. Walk for another 0.3 miles, and you will arrive at the Wheeling Historic District located at 2146 Market St on your right.
Walking from Oglebay Park
If you are at Oglebay Park, exit the park and head south on Oglebay Dr. Continue until you reach the intersection with US-40 (National Road). Turn right onto US-40 and walk straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Market St. Turn left onto Market St and walk for approximately 0.5 miles. The Wheeling Historic District will be on your left at 2146 Market St.
