From any location in the Driftless Area, head towards the nearest major road. If you are in La Crosse, take WI-16 E. Follow WI-16 E until you reach the intersection with US-61 S. Take US-61 S for about 30 miles until you reach De Soto. Once in De Soto, turn onto Blacktop Rd. Follow Blacktop Rd for approximately 2 miles, and you will arrive at Blackhawk County Park. There is no entry fee for the park.
