From anywhere on Madeline Island, head towards the ferry landing at the southern tip of the island. Take the Madeline Island Ferry to Bayfield, Wisconsin. The ferry ride takes about 25 minutes and costs approximately $16 for a round trip for a vehicle and driver. Once in Bayfield, drive north on Washington Avenue for about 1 mile until you reach 415 Washington Ave. The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore Headquarters will be on your left.
