Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, head towards Meyers Beach by taking State Highway 13. Once you are on Madeline Island, follow the main road, which is Madeline Island Road, until you reach the end of the island. At the end of the road, turn right to stay on Meyers Rd. Continue along Meyers Rd for about 3 miles until you reach the Meyers Beach parking area. There is no fee to park at Meyers Beach.

  • Bicycle

    For a more scenic route, consider biking. Rent a bike from a local shop in Madeline Island. Follow Madeline Island Road towards the end of the island, then turn right onto Meyers Rd. The ride will take you approximately 30 minutes depending on your pace. Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views along the way!

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start from any location on Madeline Island and make your way towards Madeline Island Road. Walk along Madeline Island Road until you reach Meyers Rd. This walk may take between 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your starting point. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!

  • Public Transportation

    Currently, Madeline Island doesn’t have public transportation options directly to Meyers Beach. However, you can take the ferry service from Bayfield to Madeline Island, which operates regularly.
