Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Vilas Park Drive. Turn left onto Vilas Park Drive and continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will find the Vilas Park Mound Group located within Vilas Park.

To walk to the Vilas Park Mound Group, start from the Wisconsin State Capitol. Head south on State Street until you reach the intersection with West Wilson Street. Turn left onto Wilson Street and continue until you reach South Park Street. Turn right and continue until you reach Vilas Park Drive. Turn left onto Vilas Park Drive and follow it into the park. The mounds will be located within the park area, about 15-20 minutes from the Capitol.
