Getting There

• Public Transit (Bus)

  If you are in downtown Milwaukee, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus routes. You can take the Green Line or any bus that goes towards North Avenue. Get off at the stop closest to North Avenue and Franklin Place. From there, walk south on Franklin Place for about 5 minutes until you reach Burns Commons, located at 1300 N Franklin Pl.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from any of the local bike-sharing programs in Milwaukee. Start from downtown and head north on the Oak Leaf Trail. Make your way towards Franklin Place. Once you reach Franklin Place, continue south for about 2 blocks until you arrive at Burns Commons, located at 1300 N Franklin Pl.

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of the Milwaukee Art Museum, head east towards Lake Michigan and then north along the lakeshore. Once you reach the intersection of E Wells St and N Franklin Pl, turn left (west) on Wells St. Walk for about 5 blocks and turn right on Franklin Pl. Burns Commons will be on your left at 1300 N Franklin Pl.

• Ride-Sharing (Uber/Lyft)

  Use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Lyft. Input 'Burns Commons, 1300 N Franklin Pl, Milwaukee, WI 53202' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the park. This is a convenient option if you're not familiar with public transit or biking routes.
