Public Transit
If you're starting from downtown Milwaukee, take the Milwaukee County Transit System bus route 30 from the downtown area (near Wisconsin Avenue). Board the bus at the stop closest to you, heading south towards Bay View. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the stop at S. Kinnickinnic Ave & E. Lincoln Ave. From there, transfer to bus route 15. Board the bus heading toward S. Howell Ave. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop at S. Howell Ave & E. Oklahoma Ave. Walk east for about 0.5 miles, passing through the residential area until you reach Humboldt Park. The WWI Veterans monument is located inside the park, near the center. Follow the path that leads you towards the monument.

Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations available throughout the city. Start your ride heading south on S. Water St. Continue straight until you reach E. Lincoln Ave. Turn left onto E. Lincoln Ave and keep biking until you reach S. Howell Ave. Turn right onto S. Howell Ave and continue for about 1 mile. Once you reach E. Oklahoma Ave, turn left and head east for a short distance until you see the entrance to Humboldt Park on your right. The monument is located in the park, so follow the paths to find it.

Walking
If you're in the Bay View neighborhood and prefer to walk, head towards S. Howell Ave. Walk south until you reach E. Oklahoma Ave. Turn left onto E. Oklahoma Ave and continue walking east until you reach Humboldt Park. The park entrance will be on your right. Once inside, follow the paths leading to the center of the park where the WWI Veterans monument is located. It's a short, pleasant walk through the park.
