    If you're starting from downtown Milwaukee, take the Milwaukee County Transit System bus route 30 from the downtown area (near Wisconsin Avenue). Board the bus at the stop closest to you, heading south towards Bay View. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the stop at S. Kinnickinnic Ave & E. Lincoln Ave. From there, transfer to bus route 15. Board the bus heading toward S. Howell Ave. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop at S. Howell Ave & E. Oklahoma Ave. Walk east for about 0.5 miles, passing through the residential area until you reach Humboldt Park. The WWI Veterans monument is located inside the park, near the center. Follow the path that leads you towards the monument.
